相信绝大多数拿到这道题的考鸭内心的想法都是 为什么是我？为什么让我抽到这道题？我也太难了吧？然而现实是残酷的，这道题的出现频率极其之高，在5~8月份的口语考试中绝对是考官的一道杀手锏。而且根据预测，在9月换题之后，这道题仍然会对我方烤鸭造成巨大的伤害。
那么今天我们就来看一看，我们如何将难题化解，做到张口就来。
首先我们来分析一下题目，这道题的题目信息分为曾经去过和想要知道更多两部分。大多数烤鸭觉得这道题难就难在不知道如何去描述一个具体历史建筑的外观以及内部装饰，因为这两个部分会涉及到一些专有名词。如果在这一部分钻牛角尖的同学，就会把一分钟提前准备时间浪费在关于建筑外观以及内部装饰的专有名词，而忽略了整体的谋篇布局。
如果大家有仔细阅读过雅思官方指南official guide 就会发现在OG明确提到了口语和写作的区别，口语的评分标准中并没有task response. 也就是说我们在口语作答时，并不需要完全的按照底下的题目要求作答。换言之，在保证一定流利度情况下，如果考生对于第1问的what it looks like 不进行作答其实最最后的口语分数并无影响。
那么我们题目的重点就可以变成描述“去过”的经历。那么相信大家对于描述一件做过的事情并不陌生吧。在描述事件经历时，推荐大家使用5w法（when, where, who, what, how）即时间，地点，和谁，做了什么事，如何做到的。
描述去过的经历之后，我们可以话锋一转，进入描述现在的部分，在这里很多烤鸭，对于解释，为什么想要对这个建筑物知道更多而困惑？其实逻辑非常简单，可以描述这个建筑物是在很久很久之前去过的，当时没有留下太深刻的印象，后来在新闻报道杂志或者报纸中又看到了这个建筑物，勾起了当时的回忆，想起自己虽然去过，但是并没有好好的去了解，比如说一位考生描述自己曾经在初中的时候，跟随父母去到法国看到了巴黎圣母院，但是当时还很小，对这个建筑完全没有认知，之后在新闻报道上发现圣巴黎圣母院被毁于大火才想要去更多的了解这个自己曾经去过的建筑。最后呢，可以用自己简单的感想作为结尾。
大家在描述时一定要根据描述事件发生时间的不同注意时态的切换。那么下面由我为大家以北京颐和园(Summer Palace) 为范例做一篇demo，
Well, I have to say that it's really a tough topic because in China we have countless historical buildings. It's really hard for me to pick one. As far as I could remember, the most impressive historical building I have been to is Summer Place. Well, I couldn't remember the exact date that I visited the Summer Place, but I'm sure it was the summer vacation when I graduated from primary school. To be honest, I was so excited about the trip for the reason that it was both the first time for me to be on an airplane and the first time I visited the capital of China, Beijing. I could still remember that I was over the moon all the way to Beijing. For me, it's more like a big family reunion as my father was always away for business.
At the first sight of the Summer Place I was amazed by how magnificent this architectural complex is. I couldn't believe it was built 200 years ago without the help of massive modern construction machines. The most impressive thing was the layout of this palace. Everything seemed to be set perfectly to create an aesthetic feast. And also it's so big. It took me nearly a whole day to finish the tour.
The latest time I heard about the Summer Place was last week that I learned It has now been closed for refurbishment reasons. As I grow older, I developed a taste for Chinese traditional architecture. The Summer Place happens to be a great example of Chinese traditional architecture. So if I ever got the chance, I will go to Beijing and visit the Summer Place again. This time I will not hurry my way with a superficial glance, but take a more detailed look of this architectural masterpiece.
